Ciao a tutti!

Vorrei chiedere la tua opinione su questa email. Ho lavorato prima in loco e remoto, ma questo mi preoccupa perché anche si sta per "liscio".

Hai mai sentito questa Firma? Anche il fondo dell’email ha questo:

Tribunale distrettuale Paderborn HRB 16181

Gestione: Raphael F. Vollbach

Voglio solo triplo controllo se questo è legittimo 🤔 Grazie per anticipo!

Any jobs where you get trained / work assigned over live messaging = huge red flag, its a scam.

Could be real, could be fake. Which mail is this send from?
Call the company or say you bring it in person

Without any additional information, I would bet that it is supposed to be some kind of “Finanzagent” job. That means you are a money mule.

Which means that you will receive transfers to your bank account (supposedly from “clients”, but in reality from scam victims). You then convert that money into bitcoin (hence the “Finanzdigitalisierung”). Then you send that bitcoin to your “employer” (meaning foreign scammers).

Basically, you get to be the person that people like this poster https://www.reddit.com/r/germany/comments/1m0g0ei/is_this_rental_agreement_a_scam/ send rent and deposit to, for a flat that does not exist.

You get the fun experience of being a scam victim (because you won’t get to keep whatever they promise you as your cut), while simultaneously being an accomplice in a crime.

That text was not written by a German. “Einschulung” means a child entering elementary school, not someone being trained for a job (via Whatsapp… sure).

Have you talked to anyone there? Even on the phone? Or was it all done by text (my guess)?

    Their website isn’t even working.

Edit: Googling “Kundendienstmitarbeiter Finanzdigitalisierung” gives results… all of which are job offers by that “company”, across various sites. If only one company claims this is a job, it is not a job that exists.

  5. Did you apply there? Job offers normally only come after an application.

Do you have a common name and the email was intended for a different person?

Most likely scam, not necessarily new.

    1. They don’t need your IBAN or social security number before signing a contract. That’s usually done after signature.
    2. The company (Holding) exists, but it’s an import business and nothing about finances. Nothing to find on a digital agency with that name. Website not working .Probably just took a real company with fake additional info.
    3. Strange wording in parts.

Where’s the email from? I wouldn’t send them anything.

The company can be found, the address is correct. The HRB is different in Google, but there is a holding and a GmbH. Search for the company and look for Joboffers there.

„Einschulung“ if you are older than 5-7 years, that alone should raise red flags.
