Ok, here are my two cents: Vucic fears for his seat and now he desperately tries to snuggle to anybody and everybody. But Serbia is landlocked and isolated, their only ally in the region is Hungary and Orban seems to be losing his powerbase rapidly. This is of no consequence because Serbia couldn’t help in a NATO vs Axis war.

No worries, everything will be forgiven as soon as Vučić pays another visit to Macron and purchases some more Rafale or Falcon with Serbian taxpayers’ money.

Just don’t give Serbia any commissioner to go through your territory. It’s a land locked country surrounded by EU nations and nations that hate them, they cannot enter another country’s territory legally even if only to fly somewhere else so simply don’t let any of them go.
as someone whu was looking firward to EU for 20 years i can say noone gives a shit anymore about joining EU since EU specifically supported out autocrat and funded him as long as it works for EU. Europe didnt give a shit about people in Serbia they just need profits and someone to take the refugees that EU didnt want.
