Did you know that Russia (USSR) was the most murderous people in history. this is mathematics, not hate to foreign citizens or groups.

USSR murdered 62 million people, and 55 million was domestic. Their own people, that’s what’s happens when the dark side wins. How can even Russians accept this?

Now you know by historic numbers why 1 million dead in Putins special military operation, means absolutely nothing for him.

In Russian history this is just small change, it has no relevans at all. Just an incident, not even a peak in history.

Second is China. They murdered 35 million of their own people. If you count both regimes, you can add 10 millions more, rising to 45 million. Now you know why they dont give a damn about what people think domestically or in Hong Kong or Taiwan.

Third, The German Third Reich. 21 million people, but only 0.7 million domestically. That doesn’t make them better, but we always talk about Hitler as the mass murderer of the 20th century, numbers say that he is not he is nothing compared to USSR and China. Its not even half of chinas domestic disputes.

This give a scale of what we are up against in Europe, there is nothing such “We cannot afford 5% defense budget”, this must be recognized.

I’m the last person to excuse Stalin or the USSR, but the number of victims of this regime seems grossly exaggerated. Overall they include about:
0.7 million sentenced to death and executed, mostly during the Great Purge of 1937-38
0.4 million direct victims of collectivization (mostly wealthier peasants)
0.4 million victims of forced deportations of some ethnic minorities
1.7 million excess deaths in gulags
5.5-6.5 million excess deaths (mostly due to famine) during the collectivization in early 1930s
The direct victims of the Russian civil war is about 1.5 million. So altogether 9 million. I don’t know where the author came with the numbers for Russia/USSR in this article.
