This is not Anti-LGBT propaganda (edit: because they dont even care about them) – this is part of their campaign. Their voters – mostly old people – only watch stated owned media and they are kind of afraid of this (and they dont know what AI is) so this works on them. Also, they are afraid of the war between Ukrain and Russia. Fidesz is working on overstating the dangers of both (and a few other things), and also promises to protect Hungary. They dont care about the war and they dont care about LGBTQ, they just measured that this works and push it 110% on every media they own because they think this will get them votes. That’s all. They want votes. They dont care about other people.
It’s obvious there are in panic seeing the polls.

The best thing is, due to these sorry excuses of fascists trying to ban Pride this year, over a hundred thousand people who never would’ve attended Pride anyway, went there this year. Many with their children. And what all of them experienced, is that it’s nothing like what the bigoted propaganda is making it out to be. They can fearmonger with all the AI tools they want, the only place where it will be effective is among the – by now -minority, who hate the gays anyway.
We have a long fight ahead for LGBT rights and acceptance in Hungary, but if Fidesz loses next year it will prove that anti-LGBT propaganda ceased to be an effective tool to win elections, and that will be a HUGE step.

If the quality of Orbánist propaganda continues to decline following the current trajectory, by October we’ll see an AI video of the 2026 Budapest Pride, featuring gay Ukrainian cossacks in spiked leather harnesses doing the Hopak dance on a pride truck, while a pink silk-clad Magyar Péter is being carried around on a palanquin, presiding over an unholy ceremony where children are being sacrificed before a Moloch idol. The camera will focus on the Caligula-esque Magyar Péter as he drinks blood from a golden chalice, he wipes his mouth with the Hungarian flag and yell:
