Let me drop some wisdom based on my personal failure.
DO NOT agree to “a quick hike up to the SAC (Früdenhütte)”. Had no food, no water and not even proper hiking shoes. It was beautiful up there but I ended up eating snow to stay hydrated.
So fellas, if your SO has the brilliant idea of spontaneously hiking up to the SAC , only agree if you got the proper gear.
