“Planned for contribution” does a lot of heavy lifting here and includes EU appropriations scheduled through 2027.
The humanitarian section also includes domestic spending programs that don’t go toward Ukraine but rather to support jobs programs domestically. It really needs to stop being reported this way ad it’s not assistance to Ukraine but a safety net fir their own economies

This is a massive waste of money (and lives) if Ukraine doesn’t win. I wish the EU and the US would stop being so scared of Russia and just do whatever is necessary to push them back over their border.

“Houston….we have a problem!”
Houston: “Nope….we don’t…”
Means that it is not a bug…it is a feature, featured by TACO-Don and the ‘patriotic’ US(S)’ voters. Thx to them the ORANGEutan is in charge now and doing EXACTLY that, what the majority want’s: Do NOT spend any more money to other countries. Even it would be needed from humanitarian point of view…sad, but true. I hope, the US would never ever get in trouble, where they need support from other countries…like Ukraine in the future.

The US made a lot of money off Ukraine as well, including selling arms and fossil fuel, and taking a competitive advantage because energy prices in the EU went up because of the war.
