But, but… I was told us Europoors were freeloading off the USA, and also not helping Ukraine. Why would the Yankees lie?

To tone down the European glaze just a tad, it is important to note that the EU economy in total is larger than the American economy. Or at least I think so, I’m sure I’ll get corrected in the comments.

Whatever the EU buys from the US to help Ukraine should be taken into consideration in there.

It’s an absolute scandal that we let the US calling us freeloaders while we fund a big chunk of their military-industrial complex and it should be a priority to any European country having an ounce of self-respect and forward thinking to switch to in-house solutions as soon as possible when it comes to defence.

100 billion earkmarked for Ukraine? Besides it being nonsense, thanks EU for helping Orban AGAIN when he polls badly before an election.

Sadly -: no one questions when different and incorrect figures are presented in US media. This is the reality of current times.

Be is trade deficit, Ukraine support or anything else

What has Ireland done? They have a 550 billion economy that depends on banking and countries not getting invaded.

Similar question for the Swiss and Austrians

Umm, shouldn’t a union of 27 countries which have 120M more people and are literally next door to the war be paying more to begin with?
