On the Nov 2000 issue of the Australian airline Qantas’s inflight magazine the feature writer
Boasted that Helsinki (plus the rest of Finland) was a good travel destinationbecause they love cooked gourmet real food, no trace of Americanised globalisation, no American fastfood joints.
They probably have to re-write the whole thing now.
(Edit: if you are skeptical over this, I still keep a copy of that Nov 2000 issue of the Qantas magazine at home as part of my aviation memorabilia)

To be fair, we were already within striking distance for a while. It’s just that the kids are now chubby as well as the adults.
