    1. Red wineberries, röda vinbär. The leaves look a bit different though

The leaf’s dont look right for currants.

It looks more like ***Ribes alpinum***.

It is actually måbär and not vinbär, I learnt this recently since I have both behind my yard and vinbär has bigger leaves and not as pointy. Måbär is fine to eat but don’t taste that much so now you know

I think it looks more like Måbär. They are the same family as redcurrant but grows in smaller clusters.

Wtf have the bots on reddit not seen vinbär before?

      This is not vinbär

That is absolutely måbär, I have them in my garden haha, I can understand the people thinking they are red currant, but that’s just not at all how red currant leaves look, plus the fact that they are growing on a well kept hedge, nobody is using red currant bushes as a hedge lol

Det är ju sånna där sjungande koreanska adoptivpäron.

Exactly. Måbär is not toxic tho, but it’s unlikely to be a pleasant taste experience.

Too bad it isn’t red currants. I have red and black currants growing around my apartment. I’ve made mead with both, and every batch turned out amazing. Mead with currants is a great combination.
