About time, crazy how long this has just been totally ignored.
1. Get council to give info on HMOs
2. Drive around to HMOs and investigate any that have more than 3 L-plate mopeds outside.
Gotta love how they always go for the workers who’re just trying to make a living, and never for the companies that hire them. Ludicrous behaviour.
Personally I’m more interested in them arresting people for illegally modified e-bikes, but I feel that I’m probably in the minority

So, its not going to be economical for businesses to employ illegal workers. In fact, that level of fine is going to be enough to close down some businesses. Of course, enforcement is key.
Genuinely curious is the police find out who’s accounts these people are using and fine them.

Just fine these companies for each illegal “self employed” driver its really that easy, business can pay fines of up to £50k per worker for background check failures, why are these stupid food delivery companies above the law?!!
And nothing for the ones who hired them? They hired people who had no right to work just so they could exploit them, after all who are the drivers going to go to if they can’t risk the courts. The employers are even more to blame here.

Companies are 100% to blame for this. Greedy cunts loving their slave Labour with all the horrendous knock on effects it has. There should be fines to the tune of 20% profits or more, this would end the practice – if it was a just/sane world.
At the end of the day it’s a fucking pathetic ‘service’ mostly for lazy fucks who can’t be bothered to get their own food. Who really needs it.
