Dear Holy father. Please go to Gaza and try to explain to them that the war can stop instantly if they release the 50 Israeli civilian hostages they are holding in violation of international law.
Please ask them to finally recognise Israel’s right to exist and stop firing rockets onto their cities, and using international aid to build terror tunnels they use to attack Israeli women and children.
Israel has been holding out their hands asking for peaceful coexistence since the United Nations partition plan, and now recently the Oslo Accords where Israel made huge offers of territory for peace.
Remind the Palestinian people that they already have 80% of the Mandate of Palestine, which included the modern state of Jordan which has a bigger Palestinian ethnic majority.
There’s no need for hatred and war. I’m sure you can persuade them. While you’re there, ask them to please stop killing gays and get them to agree to let you send missionaries to hand out Bibles and teach them the peaceful Way of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This could be said in a much clearer manner with,
“Hamas, you’ve lost. You don’t have any ability to stop Israel, so surrender and release your hostages. This is the only thing Israel will accept, so save your people already!”
