Ciao! Quindi sono un turista a Kefalonia e oggi ero a Fiskardo e ho visto questo adorabile gatto e sono rimasto a Sami, così i lati opposti dell’isola. Wait a minute, why are you crying?
If it’s because of how it looks, it probably does have eyesight problems and possibly Down’s syndrome. But judging by the elements of the picture, it looks like it’s near some kind of establishment and one ear is tipped, so the kitty may very well be neutered/spayed and taken care of by the owners or the locals. It’s very common to see ‘tavern cats’ in tourist areas and they are usually treated like mascots. It also seems to be well-groomed and in healthy weight. I can assure you these cats eat like damn kings as they beg at every table!
Unless you have a particular reason to worry — in which case you should contact an animal volunteer group or the municipality — there’s no need to feel sad. It may very well be living its best life (calling it ‘it’ because it looks like a male, but IIRC vets tip the right ear on females).
