You NEVER need to pay to accept a job. NEVER.

Also, in general no one employs based on just an application.

AND we have awful unemployment rates. No one goes out of their way to recruit people from abroad for basic Jobs. We have enough applicants here

      ”Complete your payment quickly”

Why you even think it is anything other than a scam?

    3. NeilDeCrash on

Wait, the highlight says “complete your payment quickly” ? 99,9% scam

Scam. Econet seems to be a consultant company, they clearly dont need 130 logistics workers when they only have an office in a shared building. And if they did, they would have no problem hiring local people.

They are using the name of a company that has ceased operation based on https://www.kauppalehti.fi/yritykset/yritys/09472354

Anything that seems urgent, desperate to get you to do something very quickly, especially that asks for money, especially by email only, especially if it seems to good to be true, especially with companies that don’t have long established reputations, especially when they reassure you that everything is going well, are scams. I can’t find anything about this (not even the fake name used) that seems authentic.

Edit: formally tell them you withdraw your application, and would like your personal info removed from their system. I doubt it will do anything, but at least you’ll have a track record that you did indeed notify them that they weren’t to use it.

No kind of job needs you to pay the company to work for them its literally the other way around. This is a very obvyous scam.

100% a scam. Even as a native it would be hard to find a job that pays 2800€/month with no education and/or prior work experience. Plus, if you check Econet’s actual website, there are no open positions there. A thorough internet search of the company and the person you’re in contact with will quickly tell you if it’s a scam.

Well it’s a real company here and on their own website they state that they have no current open positions as of my 30-second google search.

      Scam scam scam scam

You will never need to pay to apply/accept a job. Ever.

Also if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Everyone is struggling to find jobs, so no one would just hire random people just based off of application like this.

      Scam all the way

It’s a scam. You don’t need to pay company to work in finland.

When anyone tries to hurry you to do any decissions, it’s a 99% chance of being a scam. Also you don’t pay to work. And I’d be veeery careful of sending pics of my passport/id to anyone I don’t personally know and trust.

    13. isoAntti on

Probably yes. They are an accounting /database house, I doubt they hire more than 1-2 logistics employees total.

U´re ok. Just don´t pay anything. Offer Redditors to go there pay in person.
