These monstrosities shouldn’t exist in the first place, and there are many things that are wrong with these indeed. That being said, by looking at Larnaca, I’m not sure if these could have been totally avoided (although, things could have been better than ‘this’ anyway).
What concerns me more would have been projects that meddles with the historical sites, buildings that are of historical importance, and ones that are close to them tbh.
