This has taken a very long time to make its way through the courts. Should really be a whole life sentence.

Said this when this first came out, Clifton Suspension Bridge is probably one of the most conspicuous places to try and throw a body off. Hell they’ve got guards there largely to stop _living_ people throwing themselves off.
The only thing I can imagine is the bloke googled “bridges in the UK” and picked the first one that wasn’t slap bang in the middle of London.

We’re now hearing that Mosquera had a female partner and two kids back home in Colombia. So he likely wasn’t even gay, yet hung around on gay websites and got involved in extreme sex with gay men.
He was also ex-military and studied at a *forensic science school* of all things.
Dear Christ this just gets worse. What a ghoul.

Feel sorry for the jury having to watch the videos.

Is there any theory on why he did this? Every time I see this case I think every aspect of it is so bizarre.

this whole story reads like an episode of Inside No 9

The cyclist who confronted the man and got footage of him should be applauded here too. Risky to do but sounds like it helped the police a lot.

What a horrible, gruesome story.
