I know people often look back on the old days with rose tinted glasses and ingore all the bad but I really miss movies like Babe & Mouse Hunt. Movies that had heart.

I’m younger and recently watched a movie called ‘Waking Ned’ all about an Irish place who band together over a lottery win and was easy to watch. No moody faces whispering to which I can’t decipher what the hell they are saying just easy to watch fun. No evil weirdness that weird black and dull filter that is on all movies these days.

Had he worked on a film based around mass crop agriculture he would go the other way. Great example of how bias works

My brother took his two young children to see Babe. On the way back he asked them what they wanted for tea and they both shouted “bacon”!

Took my kids to see a re-release of this at the cinema a couple of months ago. I swear I don’t remember everyone having an American accent when I saw it as a kid. Why would they do that anyway?? Completely ruins it imo

Probably the last set he expected to go vegan on. You can almost hear someone off-camera asking if steak counts as a vegetable.
