You’re councillors, not MPs. Make use of the staff at your council – the heads of service who are meant to be experts in their field and getting paid a hefty salary. That’s what they’re there for.

Promises to stop wasting public funds, then votes to blow £150k on a political advisors. Hypocrisy of the worst kind, how does this help their constituents?

They have contributed nothing of value, this show they will do the complete opposite by wasting funding.

This is the party so many are willing to vote for in the next general election. Really hoping voters open their eyes and vote every last one of them out and consign this joke of a party to being a footnote in the history books.

Aren’t they supposed to be cutting waste? Oh wait though they need advisers as they have zero fucking clue what they are doing – best vote more of these clowns in

Thats the crux of it. No political expertise, so need to pay for advisors. So who are these ‘advisors’ and how do they know they’re getting unbiased advice and who advised the advisors?

I mean they’re led by a grifter, so why be suprised they are all on the grift as well? I bet a cheap date night with Farage that these political consultants will be their relatives.

If they’ll do this on a council level, just imagine what they’ll do on a government level. They will side-line the civil service with this shower of shit.

I’d rather he waste money on getting a haircut that doesn’t make him look like a twat.

But seriously though it’s a complete waste but also how many decent political advisers can you afford with £150k? Or is this just so he can give a job to an old school mate?

    8. HonHon2112 on

Because they are incompetent and unqualified. They also will be hiring advisors who are mates to the Reform UK LTD cause of grift and getting in the government money gravy train (like Trump).

Anyone who votes for Reform UK LTD is a complete and utter noodle.

Nothing good will come of indulging in Reform bullshit.

And we all know who these “political advisers” are going to be! Kerching!!!

    11. Ill_Temporary_9509 on

“Political advisors” ie cronies who’ll kickback a portion of that £150k to the people who got them their spot

    12. wkavinsky on

Notice – not subject matter experts, but **political consultants** who can provide 0 benefit to *already elected councillors*.

Meanwhile they’ll be happily slashing services for the public to pay for this.

    13. r3xomega on

Safe bet that these ‘political advisers’ were friends of at least some of the councilors.

Is this the f*ckwit that is head of a County Council and yet is not yet 20 years old? Not wishing to sound ageist, but isn’t he a little too young, inexperienced and uneducated in the fine art of local politics and the running of a County Council. More to the point, who the f*cking hell actually voted for this right wing ideologically challenged moron? Sorry, shouldn’t have called him a moron – Right Wing socially divisive c*nt – like all Reform UK representitives – is more appropriate. His parents probably love him, but that may be as far as it goes. Surely they must have advised him not to get involved with what is now becoming viewed as a group – because that is what Reform UK is, and not a real political party – of conspiracy theorists, nut jobs and all round misogynists and racists.

So young, yet already destined to be shamed and thrown in the dustbin where all disgusting, corrupt and traitorous politicians reside. Farage hopefully will be thrown in to that dustbin very soon.

Don’t see anything wrong with this, if they are voted in by the people then the people need to be happy with their actions. Democracy and that.

Please look into who these “advisors” are, pocketing £150K of hard earned public money. No doubt there will be a gravy train longer than HS2.

‘ Political advisers ‘ will of course be party cronies
