Ho comprato la nuova borsa per il riciclaggio (https://www.recybag.ch/) per la plastica, come riportato nelle notizie (ora le famiglie di Zurigo e Horgen possono raccogliere i loro rifiuti di plastica nel nuovo sacchetto di smaltimento

Ero solito supportare il progetto pilota di Migros (GenerationsAck). Era più economico di una normale borsa della spazzatura, offrendo così un grande incentivo a raccogliere la plastica separatamente. Questo nuovo ora costa praticamente lo stesso del normale Züri Gebührensack (16.- e 16.20). Chi riciclerà la plastica se paghi quasi come per la normale spazzatura e devi portarlo al punto di collezione da solo?!
Le aziende non dovrebbero concentrarsi maggiormente sull’evitare la plastica in primo luogo piuttosto che far pagare i consumatori finali per il riciclaggio? Ci sono così pochi modi per rinunciare all’acquisto di plastica perché tutto viene avvolto in essa!
Greenpeace aveva ragione a posizionarsi contro il riciclaggio di plastica (https://www.greenpeace.ch/de/story/65774/sackgasse-plastik-recycling/) in quanto dà alle aziende una scusa per continuare a usare la plastica, perché presumibilmente viene riciclato (è un sistema in conflitto – molta plastica viene venduta e scaricata, riciclata in condizioni precarie, a volte risultando in prodotti più poveri, di solito costa più della nuova plastica …)
Sono frustrato e confuso come dovrebbe aiutare questa borsa …

Luckily there are locations where they accept lots of plastic for free. But for mixed plastics they give the advice to just put it in the trash because it makes environmentally the most sense in Switzerland: https://www.sammelhof.ch/sammelhof

I no longer trust Migros.
The solution is simple, but not business friendly.
Tax who uses the plastic (the business) and not the customer, and force the businesses to take back and recycle their plastics at their own expense.
If you move the whole hurdle to them, either they will be forced to raise up tremendously their plastic backed products, or find a more sustainable solution.
Tax the source, not the destination!!
