Good to see people getting jail time over this. People get off the hook far too easily for animal abuse in Ireland, it’s sickening

The sentences for animal cruelty need to be massively increased, across the board. It is warped how some people can cause such suffering to innocent creatures.

So they decided to starve the dogs because they had ‘difficulties’ in the house. Absolutely worthless scumbags🤬🤬

I was trying to make a post about it here but it’s pending mods stamp of approval for some reason. You can have an Animal Foundation or SPCA seize an abused animal and provide treatment, but then Gardai will take the dog back to the abuser. Absolutely disgusting.
Delighted they were jailed. I hope they don’t appeal it, they deserve much more than a small few weeks in prison.
