      the parliament votes for some batshit proposal

      institution said that’s not okay

      the parliament scrambles at the last moment and retracts the batshit, often with some tiny pieces of bat crap stuck in corners

      Nah, they didn’t scramble shit, Zelensky signed it into law immediately and the parliament went on a 4-week summer break. I assume they want to scuttle all investigations against the close circle, that are currently underway at NABU and then maaaybe, hopefully, retract it in a month’s time.
