Went to the nearby store during lunch break. I had to take a shower when I got home because I got so sweaty.

Nice enough. But, in the bigger picture, the frequency and length of these heat waves (by Nordic standards) in recent years is probably indicative of problems.

Hot in Helsinki. A ten minute walk and back to the shop had me sweating.

I love it. Finally warm. The whole summer so far has been 15C, rain and wind but now i can actually do shit outside

Finn here: we complained about it being too cold in June. Now we’re complaining about the heat, of course.

Moved out to a building with outdoor swimming pool.
      18C in July.

Hush now, we are having siesta. But OMG the horse flies, they are huge and numerous! Greetings from Lapland.

24 deg C in summer, coded as red – isn’t it exaggerated?

    11. Hehe, seems I picked the best 2 weeks of the summer to visit my parents, Finnish archipelago is my #1 holiday destination ❤️

Finally 1 week of summer in Western Norway 🥳 it’s about the end but I guess one week was better than nothing

I mean we have so much cold weather through the year , so I’m bloody well enjoying these temps, no matter if I’m melting inside or not

I would like to know why places with 18°C are orange. For me that should be blue.

Best kind of summer. 27-29 °C and half cloudy with a slight breeze is the optimal summer weather and it doesn’t get any better than this 😎. Too bad it usually lasts for less than a month in the whole year.

Insufferable. I was happy in my T-shirt and shorts when it was 15°C, now it’s too fucking hot to go outside.

Anatolia and the Balkans slowly morphing into the Sahara, a bit arround the Caspian Sea as well, which btw it is drying up. First the Aral and now it, isn’t it neat?

It’s hot, but after doing my military service on Sodankylä with the temps hovering at -30 and below in the winter, I decided I will never complain about warmth again.

Sitting in my apartment naked, because any clothing would be soaked instantly.

I’ll warm my sauna later this evening.

30 C above the arctic circle, this is harrowing.

    21. In Poland no summer has come so far. 25 degrees tops, most of days are cloudy. Not the summer I’m used to. Worst part is August seems to be coming similar

I wonder how the people in the 40+ areas are faring.

Our houses are built to keep heat inside. First few days are nice, then the inside of the houses warm up. No AC. Send help.

    24. Feralica on

Atrocious. We aren’t built for this. It’s bad, real bad.
