PRIME MINISTER of Serbia Đuro Macut stated that as long as he is at the head of the government, Serbia will not impose sanctions on the Russian Federation.
In an address to the public on the occasion of the presentation of the results of the first 100 days of the Government’s work, Macut emphasized that the country’s foreign policy is conducted in accordance with the state’s interests, reports Anadolu.
“When it comes to foreign policy, I would like to emphasize once again at the beginning that, while I am the Prime Minister, we will not impose sanctions on the Russian Federation,”
Macut also said that Serbia is “under great trials” and stressed that only a “strong, united, multiplied and deified Serbia will defend every inch of its Kosovo and Metohija” and be able to protect its people, wherever they live.
“Our homeland is under great trials and we, as its children, must defend it. Only a strong Serbia can protect its people, wherever they live. Only Serbia is the guarantor of Republika Srpska and its survival. History has convincingly proven that. Everything else is a lie and a deception of the people,”
