    1. I read this earlier on the bbc news site and thought I was tripping balls, what a bizarre story.

This exact thing happened to my dad. He was having full blown psychosis and paranoid delusions and hallucinations. Was convinced my mum was cheating on him.

He would send me videos of her sleeping in bed as proof of the affair and even hallucinated multiple men standing outside their bedroom looking up from outside.

He was exposing himself to his psychiatrist over video, the list goes on with all the crazy shit he did.

Ended up committing him against his will to psychiatric hold for months. Weened him off this drug and got him onto a waiting list for DBS surgery which seems to have made a huge difference in both his mental wellbeing and also physical symptoms.

    3. I take aripiprazole (mentioned later in the article) for bipolar disorder, and I know both the [UK Government](https://www.gov.uk/drug-safety-update/aripiprazole-abilify-and-generic-brands-risk-of-pathological-gambling) and the [USA’s FDA](https://www.fda.gov/drugs/drug-safety-and-availability/fda-drug-safety-communication-fda-warns-about-new-impulse-control-problems-associated-mental-health) have issued previous warnings about potential impulse control issues resulting from its use. I wasn’t notified of these risks from my prescribers.
