Absolutely infuriating. His team confirmed it to him. Second huge loss of points for Alex due to failures by the team. He was DQed due to plank wear (set up).

Second race where hes been punished for something thats not racing. He would be way out in the lead if it wasnt for this.

If I’m Zak Brown or McLaren, I’m fuming with Rodin. McLaren aren’t paying Rodin to run their driver for rubbish like this to occur.

Also it ending with a safety car means those 10 seconds takes him out of the points rediculous

What’s involved in that procedure? Is it his own fault for not carrying it out or does the fault lie with the team?

    6. So what’s the start setup procedure?

Without this and his other DSQ he’d be building a comfortable buffer.

Was going to make a joke earlier saying “how long before the FIA take the win away”. It’s like VAR in football, players aren’t sure if they can celebrate a goal until sometimes minutes later. In motor sport it’s hours later

Absolute nightmare, the team’s strategy decisions for Dunne have been great to be fair to them but it’s stupid mistakes like this that are ruining his season

    9. Doesn’t take away the fact he drove a blinder, I really hope F1 teams have an eye on him.

He’s having a great season and that’s all that matters. He’s better off not winning the F2 cos if he does he’s not allowed in it next year and chances are he won’t get a seat in F1 yet. So better off having a great season and getting another year in F2 next year.
