Always nice to see the Lionesses dominating. The penalties were very neatly done, and they deserve all the credit theyll get.
To those wondering about the 1st England penalty. It was a double kick, and prior to a very recent law change would have simply been disallowed and counted as a miss. So Beth Mead getting a second chance was advantageous to England.
Watched this in the same pub that three years ago decided to air a Scottish Premier League game with Celtic vs Aberdeen over the previous women’s Euro final, where we beat Germany 2-1. Went to the pub next door instead.
That’s how much the attitude towards women’s football has changed.
