It says that it is still scheduled to be on time once it reaches Frankfurt. So it seems to have some leeway.

What we all forget is that DB is mostly in its current crisis because of shitty politicians who provided basically no funding for the infrastructure for decades.

Not necessarily. I know the connection to Frankfurt quite well, and they usually make up for their delay on the section to Giessen.
