When looking at wages between countries with the same currency, you look at Gross, not PPP
But the answer is current government isn’t particularly good at running the economy, meaning we’ve fallen behind countries we were generally ahead of
Because our government consists of a public-electricity company mogul that has millions hidden away and bunch of private-sector rejects that would be earning minimum wage if not pumping the majority of the public with populisms of social cohesion and social programs – which require increasing taxes, because we are burning through tax money as if it was paper in a firepit.
