Good. It’s important that we support them, but not under any circumstances. We don’t need another cleptocracy.

Does it work for Nord Stream and Cum Ex or for Orban?

But these demands are not enough.

Zelenskyy needs to stop the political persecution of the opposition and critics like Shabunin, fix the situation with the ESBU, and expel Tatarov from his office.

Ukraine’s problems do not justify Russia’s war and military aid should continue.

Life under occupation is worse than corrupt Ukraine.

But Ukraine still needs to move towards democracy if it wants help in various areas and wants to be part of the EU

Contrast that to the deafening silence on rule of law, civil liberty violations and corrupt “anti-corruption” agencies in member states. EC loves to threaten candidates but once your contry gets in it’s all fair game, as long as you can help push the EPP agenda.

Why is Zelensky so power hungry all of a sudden?

Why defang the anti corruption agency?

Just because America is led by a power-hungry dictator, doesn’t mean you have to do it.

      It’s kinda hypocritical.

While I agree that the anti-corruption agencies should remain independent in Ukraine, maybe Europe should introduce it’s own independent anti-corruption agency first

Zelensky has a bill going to the Radha on the 31st to reverse the bill and strengthen the independence of the anti corruption agencies

No funding until house is clean. Instead of cleaning house, Ukraine is actively destroying anti-corruption efforts.

Cutting pensions and social payments could bring to consciousness old farts who are supporting attack on NABU/SAP and urge Zelensky to speed up reverse of this bs bill

That’s what the EU should do but I fear it is just empty talk like the ‘trade bazooka’ against Trump.

Every governmental employee that’s proven or likely to have participated in corruption should be sent to the front lines.

I’d like to see politcians and their families fighting for their country too with same odds of dying as regular people anyway. This would bring those numbers closer.
