If it doesn’t get repealed, which it won’t, I think Peter Kyle should be forced to meet every single signatory personally and call them a predator and a Jimmy Savile supporter to their face.

And plenty of them are bots, used by the companies who make their money from unfiltered content.

*In response to VPNs being used to bypass age verifications, a government spokesperson told Sky News: “Platforms have a clear responsibility to prevent children from bypassing safety protections.*

*”This includes blocking content that promotes VPNs or other workarounds specifically aimed at young users.”*

*”Where platforms deliberately target UK children and promote VPN use, they could face enforcement action, including significant financial penalties.”*

Anonymous government spokesmen, no elected official willing to step up to the podium?

Well this just got awkward for Peter Kyle, the Labour government official who branded all critics of the Online Safety Act pedophiles who support Jimmy Saville, as he’s been summoned to a meeting with a Trump official who is very angry over the OSA

I wonder if Peter is going to try calling him a pedophile

Can’t wait for netflix, Disney, prime, iPlayer, itvx, 5whatever, 4od and so on all to require age verification, that’s gonna piss people off. Especially the old who just wanna watch stranger things or something and need to scan a QR code on a mobile phone and sent id

Has anyone tried using a picture of Peter Kyle for facial age verification?

How many Pornhub accounts could be attributed to him?

      Sounds like a challenge

      > Reform UK’s leader Nigel Farage likened the new rules to “state suppression of genuine free speech” and said his party would reverse the regulations.

Welp, that’s a promise that’s sure to win Reform a ton of votes, which is the last thing Labour, or this country needs.

    9. This legislation was written by people who thought putting Razzle on the top shelf of a newsagents kept those magazines away from kids.

This is nothing. I’m old enough to remember the backlash against mandatory seatbelts and alchohol limits for drivers.
