So two thirds of teenagers who vape are being prevented from taking up smoking. That’s a win.

Most concerning thing is the vast majority of peeps who vape can’t seem to just give it a rest for 2 mins, even indoors.
Quick puff in the toilet, hallway, lift, restaurant, supermarket, shop etc. Got it ‘round their neck like it’s a pacifier.
Smoking may be a risk but vaping itself is a problem. It’s a national crisis, but we’re ignoring it (like so many other problems) because of worse problems associated with Brexit, 14 years of Tories, Trump, etc. It’s a ticking time bomb though and at some point, we’ll all be paying a fortune to provide care for vapers and they’ll be whinging no one warned them.
No one even knows what the long-term effects of vaping are but all indications are that they’re bad. Many vapes have ingredients that are known to be toxic because it’s a very poorly regulated industry.
Like smokers, vapers are being left to make life outside horrible for everyone else. At my bus stop yesterday, there were three people doing it and filling the air with sickly, disgusting fumes and I’ve seen people do it on the bus/train.
Parents must know their kids are doing it. I don’t know how they live with themselves.

I just can’t see it. Smoking is expensive and gross.
Who would have thought selling these as a sweet addictive substance would get children hooked.
