This is so dumb.
Flemish nationalists and independantists speak so much about getting away from the French-speaking part of Belgium that you’re wondering why they haven’t moved to the Netherlands yet.
That reunification movement is largely dying though and has been for at least 20-30 years now.
Good luck finding anything close to a majority of Belgians or even Flemings for that 🤣

A bit unrelated, but this did remind me of how non-Belgians & non-Dutch are obsessed with a potential split of Belgium, especially the more right-wing on the spectrum, and just… why? It’s not even the most disfunctional federation, Bosnia is literally right there!
