>A remote area of south Wexford has been sealed off by gardaí this morning as they carry out a dig in search of missing Wexford woman Fiona Sinnott.
>There’s a strong garda presence at the area, just outside the village of Killinick, with heavy machinery and drones set to be used to carry out a full technical and forensic examination of the site over the coming days. Sections of of the road are closed off and locals are being diverted elsewhere while the dig is ongoing.
Really hope they find her. Seems like there have been a number of these digs in recent times but they don’t seem to yield any results.
There was a recent discussion on Nicola Tallants Crime World podcast a few days ago about this. Her 2 guests who have been pushing for this dig just came across as online sleuths and chosen this location on a hunch.
I hope I’m wrong though.
Hopefully something comes from this & her family can finally bring her home
