I live in a flight path and grew up next to Dublin airport. We can’t sleep with the windows open at night due the recent change in noise levels.
There’s even a cargo plane at about 4am that without fail wakes me every night (at least I can get back to sleep). Increasing the volume would have a huge effect.

How about getting more space, including more than one shop/restaurant/cafe, into the US area of the airport? The whole rest of the airport is modern but that section is like stepping into 1980.

They’ll have to do it in the long-run. I don’t really get why they’re dragging their heels.

Likely thing for the CEO to say

I love how people say “oh don’t buy a house near an airport”
There’s plenty of places that aren’t near Dublin airport that would still be affected by this. You don’t have to live within a mile of the runway to be under a flight path

I’m right under the flightpath near a busy airport. I haven’t noticed a plane really in years. It becomes background noise, like living near a train track.
