From the horses mouth. Labour does not deserve to win the next election. An incredibly bold statement from someone offering the same brand of neoliberalism we’ve had for decades

    2. FoxtrotThem on

You could have stopped at election, all my voting life up the spout, fuck Labour.

    3. Normal-Ear-5757 on

Yeah, let’s start by changing you and Starmer for someone with ideas

    4. JoeyJoJoeJr_Shabadoo on

It will come down to whether people feel like their money is going a bit further in four years time, plus whether the big bad boats are perceived to have been stopped or reduced.

Redditors are screeching about the terrible Internet policing at the moment but that isn’t going to be one of the major factors determining the election let’s be real.

    5. Andrew1990M on

They don’t deserve it but goddamn if they called the GE tomorrow we’d be so fucked if they didn’t.

I’ll take watching the fire burn over dousing it with petrol.

    6. Mrmrmckay on

Well in a year of really shit choices and decisions, she’s finally got something right

    7. abetterworld13 on

Yes, maybe they could find Chancellor who has some core economic beliefs and ideas.

    8. Ornery_Name717 on

No parties are good. Damn life is miserable here in UK. But than again. Everywhere are the same shit

    9. South_Buy_3175 on

Well can they fucking do something then?

Apart from calling those who disagree pedos of course.

    10. masternick567 on

There’s been lots of changes, they have stolen money from literally everyone.

    11. NoSmoke2994 on

Its cause and effect. Regardless of whether you are leaning right or left, it’s important to look at this objectively. If the reasonable politicians are not gonna address concerns of the public – the public will end up voting for unreasonable ones.

All i will say is some people knew exactly what the labour government were going to do & how much of a disaster they were going be!

      Peter Hitchens,
      David Starkey,
Douglas Murray, to name a few!

Why did they make these predictions because, they understood how Tony Blair changed the constitution in 2005 with the Constitution reformat act, fundamentally putting the country’s direction on railroads something that you can’t get off, unless you repeal all the terrible laws for the past 30 years.

Labour and Keir Starmer government are just a continuation of the Blairite project.
This project has led us to ruin and is the main reason why we’re in this mess we need fundamental change the Uni party needs to be metaphorically destroyed.

    13. Electronic_Cream_780 on

So you are stepping down to enable that change to happen? No, thought not

    14. BobMonkhaus on

Change would indicate actually doing something then sticking with it and not reversing it later when people don’t like it.

    15. j0kerclash on

It makes me curious what corbyn’s plan is, since he pretty much nailed exactly what most people want, the only issue being that he will inevitably try to slide in some unfavourable policies along with it, if he even stands by his word at all.

    16. hforharshul on

That’s an easy one: they won’t win regardless! 🤷‍♂️

    17. Ok-Commission-7825 on

continuing supplying a genocidal army with weapons is just uncopyrightable, it’s like they are *trying* to lose for some reason.

    18. Darkone539 on

You lost my vote due to the only safety act. It passed under the tories, but you’re doing it so badly I have to vote for a party that wants to repeal it.

    19. Thank GOD we have 4 years left because rn, the political sphere in this country is so fucked on all levels

    20. cooky561 on

Honestly none of the current parties deserve any sort of power, but admitting it is the first step in solving a problem, I guess?

    21. salamanderwolf on

Well so far you’re loosing a lot of Liverpool, a lot of LGBTQ+, a lot of disabled and ill people, and now a lot of the younger crowd you are going to give votes to. So yeah, fucking change course you melts. You didn’t win because you’re good. You won because you were supposed to be not tories.so be not tories.

    22. Yeah, change back to something more like the Labour of 1997 that believed in helping the poor and improving the country.

    23. Turbulent_Art745 on

the only real policy I dislike massively is the disability stuff. I wish they would go further on green policies, I know they can do little about the OSA and the wfa was the correct policy.

ive seen a few left wingers say they wont ever vote labour again because of the middle east and support of israel. kind of reminds me of the us democrats and genocide joe, well trump wants to turn gaza into a hotel resort and his little UK salacious B crumb (farage) will be sucking his dangler while he does it.

      we are so fucked.

    24. ReasonableWill4028 on

If only Reeves had any power to change stuff instead of telling us the obvious.

    25. ArcticAlmond on

She says this, and now Labour will do absolutely fuck all to improve people’s lives over the next four years, and it will be shocked Pikachu face when Farage is the next Prime Minister.

    26. GreatBritishHedgehog on

The issue is, neither of them feels the urgency.

They’re just announcing stuff and tinkering here and there.

People are tired and want real change.

    27. Bolvaettur on

Their fucking manifesto was titled “Change” and it was Sturmers “my plan for change” with Rachel from Accounts being with him from the start. So now we’re to believe they need to change again?

    28. Dedsnotdead on

Labour doesn’t deserve to win the next election full stop. The party has had years to prepare for this parliament. We knew that after 14 years of Government the Conservatives had effectively imploded and took the country with it.

But even then it took months for the maiden budget and it was a car crash.

Closely followed by multiple basic failure to understand the concerns of the electorate.

The biggest problem I have, is who else in the next election to vote for instead of Labour. But in my view as a country we’ve managed to elect in a Government that is at least as bad, albeit in different ways, than the last.

It’s a disaster, to follow on from the previous Government which ultimately was also a disaster.

    29. Screw labour, never seen so many own goals I my life, unfortunately it probably means Reform win the next GE, my plan is to drink to oblivion and not wake up for five years if that happens.

    30. Wanderlustforsun on

Starmer has f’ed himself by giving 16+ the vote. Now more than ever, whichever party is slickest and cleverest with social media, and has the best funded backing (think GBnews) will gain huge numbers at the election and from what I can see that means a Reform government.

    31. miserablegit123 on

Didn’t deserve to win the last one. Look at the total fucking mess they have made of everything. Useless pricks. Fourteen years in opposition and they haven’t got a fucking clue, no coherent plans, just staggering from one fuck up to the next. All the time acting against the best interests of the UK.
