      Personally, I believe them. It’s just that as with most things on this island it’s run by dilettantes/Nepo babies/friends etc.. and they just completely fucked up it’s implementation resulting in the opposite outcome than that intended.

      I noticed so many sponsored posts on Instagram and Tiktok highlighting Malta as a party island. This is also clear by how much assistance a lot of these events and parties get from the government/tourism authority.

      Labour has always tried to present Malta as a cosmopolitan progressive Dubai in the Med but it couldn’t be further from the truth. We only get millionaires and billionaires to buy flats, inflating prices up for Maltese people, so that they can buy passports. Il-bqija, what we attract are rowdy young people who want to fly over to another country to get drunk off cheap, watered down shots because cost of living in their country is way better.

      Face it everybody, we are a cheap Ibiza and that’s it.
