If world leaders can’t speak candidly with each other, without the threat that anything and everything will be leaked to the press for journos to try and pick out a single sentence to make a story out of, then international diplomacy becomes impossible. Everything becomes a press release, rather than a conversation.

Elected officials should not be able to hide behind jargon. Government officials should be able to view communications with foreign governments and release relevant information to the public. What have they to hide?
Will be appealed and likely won in court. All rather pointless really.
He continues to be a disgrace in office. As speaker, he should be the person enforcing the need for the transparency that underpins this supposed democracy, yet at every turn he works to hide as much as possible and subverts proper process as he sees fit. He is absolutely corrupt and unfit for office.
