I’m sincerely happy you’re embracing the blandness of Finnish, for lack of a better word, *cuisine* 🙂 It’s also been a while since I’ve seen a home-made pitko. People usually make small, knotted buns. This also looks like it’s baked to perfection! The ones my mum made could’ve been used to breach the gates of Minas Tirith.
