Alcuni fantastici atti irlandesi che hanno suonato di recente insieme ora.
Che festival in generale !! Una folla così irreale e una performance per Fontaines DC e CMAT. Piace che anche alcuni atti più piccoli debbano avere il loro momento, in particolare Guriers. Un altro album o due e penso che saranno sulla buona strada per essere le risposte dell’Irlanda ai minimi.
Per quanto riguarda alcuni degli altri atti internazionali che ho visto, Bby, Hinds e Don West erano assolutamente stellari. Ancora deluso Michael Kiwanuka doveva annullare a causa di una malattia ma di sicuro.
Come festival, presumibilmente questo è stato il primo anno per la spesa e posso vederlo abbastanza grande da competere con EP in termini di popolarità. Mentre penso che sia fantastico, mi è piaciuto quanto fosse più piccolo e condensato rispetto all’EP e spero che lo mantenga così.

I felt overall, it was great but I see a slight nefarious element creeping in. Like the spillover from EP that can’t get tickets. First year I’ve seen a lot of heads just stay in the campsite. The Smirnoff area and Schweppes area jammers all weekend.
Gurriers were so so good, for a bunch of young lads they don’t seem the slightest bit out of place on a big stage smashing it.
