I have to be honest, originally from the North and I have lived in the States for 30 years. I have no input and can’t participate in Irish Presidential elections The number of threads about who should be voted President is delightfully Irish, whimsical and self deprecating in a really nice way.
I don’t have a vote, but either Misneach and Daniel O’Donnell would get it.
Now, if we only had this sort of joyful approach to electing Presidents I think a lot of Americans would be onboard.
