      And this is why anyone JR’ing or otherwise objecting to public transport improvements needs to be chained to the front seat of a BÉ coach for an entire day and brought around wherever it goes.

      I’m going to give the greens a bit of dues. Public transport improved a lot when they got a bit of power. The 90 minute fare and the lowering of Dublin transport to €2.00 a pop.

      When I used to go to Shelbourne matches on Friday nights it used to cost about €12 for 2 separate buses back and forth. Now it costs €4.

      Now imagine the wild idea if we had public transport to actually useful places…

      Like the crazy idea of going by public transport from town to the airport.

      Or if we had a reasonable priced annual pass…

      Dublin bus and go ahead had the highest increases directly correlating with the busconnects rollout. We have to see how much further increases we may witness as it keeps being introduced and the bus corridor work begins.

      Further high increases with the implementation of dart+ aswell possiblw
