What netanyahu wants is something much harder to achieve that simple overt genocide. It’s a covert extinguishing of Palestinian life and ability to continue as a people. It has to be done under cover of a greater straw man cause. This cause is the pretence that Palestinian armed resistance and terrorism (two separate things) can both be defeated. This pretence allows the continuation of the covert aim of genocide against the Palestinians.
