I walk past one on the way to work, never seen anybody in there.

Went in with a colleague on Lunch break once, it was just pure tat. Everything in there was tat.

No idea how the business manages to employ over 2,000 people.

    3. What’s the cumulative number of companies that have now been on the brink in the Past year?

It seems and sounds like not a week has gone by without a 500+ employer being on the brink

I saw some shops in the US hadn’t had stock delivered in weeks and even had a store closed due to unpaid rent. So this isn’t surprising, but a huge stress for staff who are now stuck looking for jobs an in awful market. I hope they at least get enough notice to start applying elsewhere

Oh well. Everything’s crumbling. Unemployment rising. Taxes rising. Immigration rising. Certain crimes rising. Civil unrest rising. The populace waiting each other in increasingly fractional ways, increasing. Services crumbling. Prices rising. Nothings gets built nothing gets better. Oh but we’re being limited to what we can access online without handing over MORE private data. Ai is being used to track social media by hmrc and we’re getting facial recognition vans. Love it.

But who can we blame this time, youths? Disabled people? Please let us know so we can keep pretending it isn’t corporate greed

Low cost retailers can’t survive the hike in minimum wage, the hike in employers taxes and the ‘net zero’s related mega high British energy costs. Impossible.

Government has claimed another one. Well done Reeves and Milliband.

Gutted for the employees, but these terribly run retail businesses have been taking the piss out of the high for years. Good riddance and let the market sort out a worthy replacement.

Cheaper to buy from shein. Claire’s stuff is  completely overpriced

Well I went in looking for metal headbands. It was 2 for 8 quid. I looked online and found the exact two that came in a set of 8 for less than a quarter of the price

And I was planning on getting my ears pieced this weekend too, god damn!

The worst thing about Claires is their piercings, NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER get ANY piercings done there, for yourself or for your children. They aren’t professionals, they don’t use the correct equipment and can’t sterilise the reusable piercing gun.

ALWAYS go to a reputable piercing studio to get your kids ears pierced by somebody who knows what they’re doing.

      >… is owned by a group of firms, including investment giant Elliott Management.

      >In its US filing, Mr Cramer blamed… “debt obligations”

      Elliott Management, eh?

This company was looted and wrecked by hedge funds, like everything else that Elliott touches.
