It’s hard. I don’t want to be a right voter and every test I take tells me I am a little to the left in my voting but… I see immigration going wrong. I see my taxes being deducted, yet nothing really changing or just getting worse. Services are taken away, public space is dirty. I want to be left, but politicians make it impossible.
I want to pay taxes and share my income to support improving my country and the EU. I want immigrants to do great and be a part of our society. But everything I see tells me that’s not happening for the most part.

Last time, the right populists worked really great for Germany. Lost half of their country, lost German as world scientific language, lost more than 5 million people in the stupid war and left country in ruins, and had to invite migrants to build the country. Not talking about victims. Why not repeat the same with same loser?

I’ll keep on voting Sweden Democrat as long as we have a problem with immigrants and fundamentalist Islam. When it’s fixed, great, I’ll look for other parties to vote for, but until then I will continue voting for them to solve the problem.

Immigration. It is all immigration. If you claim to be tough on immigration and do the opposite once, people might still vote for you. But two, three times?
Most people don’t even want a lot of the other policies those right wing parties support, but immigration just trumps everything. Just look at Denmark.

These far right parties will fade into oblivion when left wing parties start tackling illegal immigration and controlling the amount of refugees entering the country. Instead they want to pretend it is isn’t a problem.
At this point, I don’t even really care anymore 🤷♀️ At least here in Germany the center-right party has been so desperate for the approval of neonazis that their policies are largely the exact same as AfD’s anyway, so like, what worse could AfD even do?
Break the law and kick out people without proper procedure? CDU is already doing that. Shit on the poor so that the rich become richer? CDU is already doing that. Stigmatize and de-legalize queer people, people without German genes and those with mental health issues, etc.? CDU is already doing that. Attempt to change the election rules so they can stay in power forever? CDU has been doing that for decades. Slander left-leaning politicans, parties and judges with false accusations to muddy the water and deny their appointments? CDU literally just did that and are already starting to do it again for the next candidate. Do absolutely fuck-all for the environment and climate and chase after backwards technologies and fossil fuel-centric solutions that are completely ignoring reality? CDU is probably more efficient at this than AfD even could be. Ignore bilateral agreements and shut our borders because they don’t give a fuck about Schengen? CDU did that.
At this point, genuinely, *what* could AfD do that CDU isn’t already doing or trying to do? The only thing I can think of is end support for Ukraine (since they are Putin lapdogs). Which is probably gonna be irrelevant in 4 years when our next elections happen anyway, because I don’t see this current stalemate continuing for that long.
So at this point, go on. Let them win. Let them lead the government. It’s gonna be exactly as shitty as it is now with CDU in charge since they have the exact same policies anyway, and at least then we’ll be rid of them 4 years later when all the fucking idiots who voted for them see that their lives are exactly as shit as before and didn’t magically get better just because they were allowed to say mean things about trans people on twitter. Let the people see their utter fucking incompetence, there’s genuinely no better remedy than that. And do it NOW, while we still have institutions in place to limit their actions, so we don’t get a complete free reign like what the US voters handed Trump.
