Both show how violence is used to control power and suppress dissent.

Vucic’s time is rapidly shortening

Absolutely horrible, I feel bad for the Serbs.
Yesterday, I read that Vucic’s goons beat the hell out of a group of anti-government protesters in Serbia, who originally came from Slovakia. First started destroying their transparents and paintings, and after the protesters defended themselves, they started actually harming them. Of course, Fico refused to condemn it because he’s a fan of dictators, so he chose the argument of “not supporting protests against a sovereign government”.

The most repulsive thing of it all is the EU is supporting this regime. Von Der Leyen has had multiple meetings with Vucic in the last months and years and has affirmed support for him and his party.
It is a super bad look for the EU portraying themselves as some moral superiors while supporting a fascist regime

Romania is my inspiration whenever things look bleak. If our friends to the east were able to get rid of the absolute demon that Ceausescu was, then we can get rid of this power tripping pathetic loser

where’re photos of US/EU police crushing on Pro-Palestinian protests?

We should have done the same as the Romanians did in December 1989, in the year 2000. Many think like that here. Those prone to dictatorships should always know what is the price of comiting crimes. You may say, and you will be right that such behaviour is unacceptable or unlawful but, sometimes nothing more is possible than to execute swift justice. If, at the end of it all, we manage to arrest and put to trial this criminal that would be great, but in some cases that is impossible.
My favourite Thomas Jefferson quote:
,,The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

This might be unpopular opinion, but peaceful protest just don’t work anymore. Corrupt politicians only understand violence.
