“*What belongs together has grown together*” – this was how Péter Magyar, president of the Tisza Party, reacted to the news that Hungary’s state news agency MTI had published the statement of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), in which they claimed that EU leaders want to bring Magyar to power in Hungary. Speaking briefly about the incident during his nationwide tour’s stop in Balatonfüred, he drew a parallel: “*It’s as if we were reading the statements of the Hungarian Socialist Workers’ Party’s Central Committee from the 1980s.*”

Magyar specifically pointed out that the Hungarian public media had published the Russian intelligence service’s statement without any changes. “This is an open admission that the Russian secret service, Russian intelligence, Vladimir Putin, has begun to interfere in the Hungarian elections,” he remarked.

The party leader also sent a message to the Russian president:

The picture was taken earlier; I chose it because it has become a meme in Hungary, usually used with the caption “további jó vergődést” (“keep on struggling”), a phrase Magyar often sends as a message to the propaganda machine.

Hopefully he manages to win something against either

It will be funny if he wins the elections and then will continue to do to Ukraine what Orban did

He will beat Orban once an for all.

The only things that could stop him from:

      – Russian propaganda in Hungary

      – Russian money for Orban in Hungary

We must help Peter by spreading his posts on every single platform.
