Sounds like the company hadn’t a clue about the legal protections for pregnant employees. This sort of thing is rife at companies, like this one, where the children or siblings of the CEO are put in positions of power with no real knowledge or skill or merit.

Also, being paid that and comments made about living at home. What a cunt.
I wish I could have done this when I was working. Asked for job sharewhen a colleague and I had our babies around the sane time. Asked fir part time because I could get my job done in 3 days. I’d be pulled up in reviews for not working late, because I was leaving on time to get my child from the creche. Talk about toxic.
