>A woman who sparked a bedroom bloodbath after twisting her husband’s testicles over claims he would not have sex has walked free from court.
>Sharon Irvine, 55, grabbed her partner David as he lay in bed at their home in Blantyre, Lanarkshire.
>She accused him of performing a sex act on himself before seizing hold of his scrotum and pulling it.
>Irvine called police in January this year and told them she had attacked her husband and there was ‘a lot of blood’.
>He was taken to hospital where he needed stitches for a laceration to his scrotum but he refused to cooperate with police officers.
>The couple are still together and Mr Irvine was present as his wife of 14 years appeared for sentencing at Hamilton Sheriff Court after admitting assault to severe injury.
>Sheriff Kevin McCallum KC put her under supervision for a year and ordered her to work with addiction support after hearing she had issues with alcohol.
>Sheriff McCallum said: “I’m not going to go into the detail of this case for obvious reasons and it has no doubt caused much embarrassment to you and your husband.
>”But the fact is that your husband sustained a quite significant injury but thankfully made a recovery from it.
>”I have to take a serious view of it and at first I thought of imposing unpaid work but I’m unable to do so and it would not be right for me to impose something worse on you.”

She ripped the mans sack open and he required stitches. The title undersells it

Imagine if the roles were reversed and a man mutilated a woman’s vagina because she wouldn’t have sex with him. I suspect the outcome would be different.

Just get a divorce or have an affair.
There is no need to resort to violence

It’s insane how women can get away with smashing glasses on the face of people in pubs, have sex with underage pupils and rip scrotums without getting jail time in this country.
And these were just the ones I remembered from the last year. Unbelievable.

So let Ms get this straight: she grabbed her husbands testicles (blatant sexual assault) and then mutilated them, but gets acquitted? WRF
