Poor Simon, everybody is being so mean. He has a brother with a disability don’t you know.
Ah gosh that’s heartbreaking. Such a shame we spend money on such wasteful things while ignoring what matters most, health.
Apparently we’re not entitled to be aggrieved by this because nothing can ever improve in Ireland and we’re wrong for believing it should.
Christ, one of the world’s wealthiest countries with disproportionately high healthcare spending and we can’t even get this right. Fuck FF FG god bless that poor lad and anyone else suffering on waiting lists because of this government

Genuinely, how is this actually happening? Is there a lack of specialist surgeons with the expertise to operate on children? A lack of equipment or facilities?
So this poor young lad just has to wait to die?
But bless poor Simon sure its hardly his fault, they’ve only had over a decade to fix it, but as you know the scoliosis crisis can’t be fixed overnight.
Fucking scandalous in any country, let alone one as wealthy as Ireland. As usual with the public sector, no one will be held accountable.
