Non che sarebbe come l’Indo riconoscere che ci sono altri politici al di fuori dell’establishment, trovo questo particolarmente divertente far parte di un articolo di Sarah Carey che parla di credibilità. Sarah Carey lamenta una mancanza di credibilità in politica è piuttosto la presa.
Per coloro che potrebbero non essere consapevoli, Sarah Carey conosce molto sulla credibilità. Immagino che quando tu minimite personalmente e da solo un tribunale, impari molto su cosa significhi effettivamente la credibilità.
Le azioni di Carey al Moriarty Tribunal, indagando su ESAT Telecom e Denis O’Brien Contracts, furono un deliberato indebolimento della giustizia. Ha trapelato informazioni riservate, ammettendole solo quando si trova di fronte a un giuramento, sabotando effettivamente la credibilità dell’indagine. Mentre il tribunale alla fine ha fatto forti risultati contro O’Brien, questa condotta innegabilmente complicata e ha contribuito in modo significativo a un processo che costava allo stato oltre 65 milioni di euro, con alcune stime che suggeriscono cifre più vicine a 150 milioni di euro.
Eppure, in una forte esibizione della giostra spesso perplessa dell’Irlanda, è stata quasi immediatamente assunta da, hai indovinato, il Newstalk di Denis O’Brien, ottenendo il suo spettacolo sull’emittente nazionale non appena è stata costretta a dimettersi dai tempi irlandesi. Oggi scrive per l’Irish Independent e davvero, non c’è più nulla da vedere qui, lei è Bene Ancora.

Not to defend her too much here as I’ve read whatever of her opinion piece is shown here. But she wouldn’t have control over what the image is most likely, and she does mention Catherine Connolly in the first few paragraphs. Albeit in a negative way which is why I don’t want to defend her too much.
I think it’s more that the three main political parties in the state have yet to show their hand. It’s not a conspiracy.
The media will be very vicious on Catherine Connolly for… saying we shouldn’t be in a military alliance.
