    1. I’ve seen some of those comments, it’s honestly worse for those who actually believe it

Joe Rogan also repeats the claims on his podcast

I have had two operations this year on my arm to remove “abnormal growths”. If you have skin marks that are uneven, multi colored please get them seen to. It is very treatable if you go early.

If you are going to take advice from tiktok about not wearing sunscreen, then you deserve skin cancer.
      Some people are fucking dopes.

Education in Ireland around sunscreen could generally do with improvement. My parents never put it on me growing up unless we were going to the beach and a lot of people have a similar attitude about it today whereas you should be wearing it by default during the summer months.

Its really odd. Theres a divergence where some portion of online people have started making sure they wear SPF moisturiser to protect the collagen in their face amd others have completely avoided it over misinformation

As usual the truth is somewhere in-between,and some sunscreens contain corcinogens, this is how conspiracies start followed by denials from other groups.

I try to wear it but it’s oily no matter what brand and it makes me burn like a chemical reaction to whatever is in it triggered by the heat. I’d rather sit in the shade or avoid the sun completely now than put it on me especially after what happened in Oz a few years back with the sunscreen. I was one of those people.

I don’t wear sunscreen unless the sun is bating down. But my kids have it on most days in the summer.

In general, people with light skin should avoid the sun in the mediterranean but all i see here are people with future melanoma walking around all pink and burned
